My son signed a 1 year cellphone contract. He requested insurance on the phone that he purchased. After 9 months he has a problem with the phone. Nextel says they never put insurance on the phone and never charged him for it so it is not insured. He has the contract requesting the insurance and didn't know he wasn't being charged for it They say it was his responsibility to make sure he was insured?
