INDIANA A while ago I had signed up for some insurance
through my local gas company call E.S.P. it covered my water
heater and my furance if they needed repair, but I also saw
an extra charge on my bill called Payment power. Not knowing
what it was I called my gas company and they told me it was
insurance that would pay my Gas bill for heating my home for
up to $400.00 a month for 12 months if I was to be come
disabled or laid off from my job. The Gas bill or account is in
my name and my name only. Back in January I filed a claim
with this insurance because I have been disabled since October
of 2001 I had all the forms fill out, sent them in and was turned
down, the insurance company said that the insured was my
husband. that is a lie, plus the account is in my name my
husbands name is no where on the account. I asked to listen
to the tape recording of the call but they said they don't
think they still have it because the call was made back on
June 29th 2000. please help me, I don't know what to do?
I either want to beable to use the insuance or I want my
money back from the premiums I've paid for almost 3 yrs.
Can they insure someone who's name is not on the account?
