I live in Indiana. My original internet provider was bought by another company. Several months later that company was bought by another company. We continued to use the provider through the first sale. With the second sale, after the period ended that we had paid for, we sent a notice to the new company to cancel the service. Months later, still receiving bills, we called. The new company said we owe for 3 months because we did not call to cancel. We have not signed any contracts with new company. Isn't notice in writing exceptable for termination of service or do we owe what they say?
