What is the name of your state? California

This might seem silly but it's quite important to me. I want to find or draft a document to establish something like a favor owed. It would be like an IOU but for a favor instead of dealing with money, of course the "promise" would have to be refined through the document also. Anyone know if there is any way to do this?

Thanks.
