Can a private school write in a contract (and enforce) that if you withdraw from a school even before the school starts that you get no refund?

In a contract, you can draft any provision you like. It doesn't mean the other party has to sign it.

I once drafted a contract where the guy wanted to control the property after he sold it to another party.....it was a legal contract, but oddly enough....no one ever bought his property.
