we own a company that receives a great deat of print and televised media coverage. over the years we have experienced journalist that are not accurate in their details. we are interested in a contract that would require the journalist to have pre-approval from us prior to going to print or film. are there any such contracts?

no, because no reputable journalist would sign such a document. A journalist (either print or electronic media) CAN be held to a certain standard of proof regarding the reporting of facts, however the burden of proof to show that facts are not reported accurately is up to you or the company.

However, general reporting about a company or public entity cannot be controlled by contract or law.
