What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? ky I signed a contract may/2008 w/local builder to build house on my property by or before 06/2009. closed on bldg loan 09/2009. contractor claims to still be owed $21,000.00. has admitted to leaving major items off initial bid. much (expensive ) work left to be done. do i owe him any more money? do not trust him to finish work, nor will he without more money.
