What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? TX
I just leased a 55k car. Went to dealership to install the license plate. My rep made the screw holes but he did not align them right. Now my plate is misaligned both horizontally and vertically. In order to fix the problem we will need to make some new holes and I don't want accept that, because I plan to purchase the car. My dealer is saying they will neither replace the bumper nor give me a different car. They will just plug the whole at the body shop and make new holes. I want to be reasonable, but I feel that they are not being just. It is their fault and they should pay for it. What are my legal rights?
