What is the name of your state? Florida ( Collier and Lee Counties)
Can a twenty year old person living at home be able to commit to a retail auto contract without a co-signer? The contract documents both birthdate and absence of co-signer. This was a "spot delivery" and the financing (14.42%) fell through. Now the dealer is asking for a greater down-payment to complete the deal. Temporary tag has been issued, and financing details are documented.

A 20 year old is a legal adult and can be held liable for contract signed without a cosigner.

If the financing fell through, why not just return the car and find one you can afford?
