can a consumer file suit against a store for glass tile she purchased 6 months ago and installed. Consumer ordered glass tile and then had to redo an area
in which she needed more. She is now claiming the dyelot is different and want compensation for this issue.

Well yes a consumer could file suit ,it doesn't mean they'd prevail in court .

When ordering any sort of materials like this a consumer should always order extra of the same , at the same time ,just in case .

Now if the store advised her 6 months later they had the " same " kind , and it's not the same kind , there could be an issue.

Then it's advisable to try and compromise and settle out of court.
