I moved from Colorado to Pennsylvannia in July of last year. I had an internet broker (The Moving World) complete my move for me. I paid them and they had an agreement/contract with Atlas Van Lines to do my move. After my move, they never paid Atlas and since went bankrupt. Now, Atlas is after me for the $$. I have already paid in my eyes. How can I be liable to pay twice? They are trying to be very intimidating.
I signed NOTHING from Atlas. No agreement/contract etc. I signed NOTHING from The Moving World that said I was liable to Atlas if they went belly up.
Please help me.
