What is the name of your state? North Carolina
My girlfriend had a motorcylce wreck and dropped it off to get repaired. The repairs were done in a week but she didnt pick it up right away. Now it is 2 months down the road and she calls to see how much it is to come pick it up and it is above and beyond the price b/c of a storage fee. I understand the storage fee but he says he is gonna sell the bike if he dosent recieve payment in full by a specific date. My questions are
#1 Dosent he first have to put a lien on the bike before he can sell it?
#2 If she starts making reasonable payments on the bike does he still have the right to sell it? (i know he can still asses the storage fees while payments are being made)
