Bought microwave/hood and installed into new kitchen/newcabinets/etc. Hood vents through cabinet into custom designed SEALED duct. Vendor recalls microwave. Has no solution for repair, quotes "several" weeks delay and do not use even clock on microwave. The problem is that I am moving several counties from the microwave installation location, and renting the house. which cannot be rented without the hood over the stove. Vendor offers $100 to wait (so you can purchase a microwave and set it on the ocunter) but this does not resolve the hood issue. Vendor does not want to replace microwave hood and reinstall. What should we do?
