What is the name of your state? NY - Class occurred in NJ.

I took a class in person. Online it states, "The program fee is $2,500 and includes all materials, including the PMBOK, PMP Exam Prep, and exam simulation CD." During class, after I paid the $2500, they said they wanted the exam simulation CD back after the test. My question is, which is correct? I'd like to keep the CD - I paid $2500 for the class including books, or must I return the CD (cost is $300). I was told if I do not return the CD, they will charge my PayPal account without prior permission from me. If they want the CD back, this would also open the door to force people to return other course material.

Thanks.
