We had paid $3500 towards our daughters orthodontic fee of $4300 when the orthodontist filed bancruptcy. There was another 10-12 months left of her braces treatment. We have been sent paperwork to file a claim. We had to get another orthodontist who pulled everything out and started her over (a liability issue concerning the previous ortho's work) costing us another $3591. What do we file and/or are we entitled to anything and what if anything are we entitled to? If we still owed $800 when the banc. was filed is that a nonfulfilled contract and we are just out the money? or are we to file the $3500 we had paid for services not completed? or do we file the amount we had to pay the new ortho? I really don't have a clue. Any help would be great! Thank you. Kathy
