I own a small business. I hired a design firm to spuce up my image via logos, brochures and product packaging. They were paid in excess of $4600 for these services.
I never received a copy of these designs and when I ask for one recently so that I could have a printer make copies of the brochure for an up coming trade show, he refused under the reasoning of ownership. He says that I do not own these files and i can have them unless I pay for the rights to them.
I would be ever greatful for some advise.
