What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Pennsylvania
I recently purchased a motorcycle on eBay. VIN number checked clear on lookup, have the title signed, but neither of us knew it had to be notarized. He was military, and I can only assume is now elsewhere because I am unable to get a return to my emails/calls. There has to be some recourse here, but I've found nothing but dead ends. The seller even included the original bill of sale from the dealership, I'm convinced he was legit, but I don't know what to do if I can't get ahold of him, and even if I do I don't know that he can get it notarized wherever he may be. Any ideas?
