I recently did a job for a man in which we had a contract. He thought that he would take out a few thousand to cover the cost of the ugly looks of a system we installed which is non avoidable. However on the check he wrote Paid in Full. We cashed it because he took so long to pay and we needed the money. Can we go to small claims court and seek the balance or did he cover himself and we are the fools.
