I live iin PA, and purchased a piece of furniture in NC. I paid in full for the pice of furniture in March of 2000. We were told that the piece would be delivered within 6 weeks. The piece has still not been delivered- over one year later. I have called the company several times. They do not return our calls. When we have spoken to a representative, they promise that the piece will be delivered, and we never get it. We have requested our money back several times and they have ignored our requests.
We paid $655.00 for the piece. We have contacted the Better Business Bureau. Nothing has come of this. What can we do ?? We feel as though we have been robbed of our money.

Undelivered furniture

You have a legal right to get your money back because of breach of contract, However, if the furniture company is not doing business in PA, then you can not bring an action against them in PA. If you could arrange it, you could sue them in Small Claims court in NC. Another option, which may work, is to have a lawyer write them a letter.
