I am an artist. I believe that if someone really wants a piece of my artwork; and cannot afford it, they should have the option to make payments. I have drawn up a payment to purchase contract. If after they have signed the contract to pay me certain monies until paid in full; but later terminate the agreed payments; if stated so in the contract, is it legal for me to keep 25% of monies paid for the piece, (like a reimbursment of the time it could have been up for sale)?
