What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Ohio

We are in the process of purchasing a short sale. Listed in the MLS for the home it is to include all appliances. Refrigerator, microwave, oven, dishwasher, water softener. We did a contract on Aug. 5th and listed in the contract it says "owner is to leave..and it lists all of the appliances." We havent had all parties sign the contract because it is a short sale. The bank finally approved our offer to purchase this home. They contacted the seller/current owner for them to sign the agreement. Since then the seller contacted the listing agent via email saying they don't see themselves able to purchase appliances for a long time and advised the listing agent that they went into the home and got all appliances. Now the problem is that the listing agent has all of those to be included. What happened is wrong and someone has to be accountable. Would it be the listing agent, the listing agents broker, or the current owners. What should be done from this point? Does the listing agent have to compensate due to a false promise on the home. The bottom line is we put in a offer and since the approval of it the house has been altered. We are in love with the home and have alot of time invested in it. We would hate to walk away, but I am open to any suggestions! Thank you.
