I am not certain I am directing my question at to the right category:

The issue concerns photographs that were taken of me by
an ex-boyfriend who is also a photographer

The content of photographs is extremely explicit and upon terminating
the relationship I requested the film

The "photographer" refuses to provide film

There is no model contract: I accepted no fee
and I fear the photographs are appearing/will appear in
a public arena without my permission

Do I have to wait until I see these photographs published before
taking legal action?
