This is in California.
A rebuilt transmission with a 6-month warranty went bad after 5 months, and the shop replaced it under warranty.
They told me the relpacement transmission only has one month of warranty left, that the warranty does not restart with the replacement.
Is this correct? The replacement transmission is starting to slip after only 2 months...these things are $2000 items.
