In OH. Heard that you cannot 'practice dietetics' in Ohio without a license (RD). Someone was supposedly sued for this and the plaintiff won. (No details, just what I heard) Can someone in the fitness business, with a vast knowledge and amount of personal experience 'write diets' or give diet advice for a fee? Maybe even along with a training program. If so, should something be signed stating they (the client) have requested the advice and understand we are not dieticians? We have professional liability insurance.
Thanks for any knowledge you could share on this!
