I am in Calif. and recently bought a $300 dog dryer from a company in Colorado thru a pet catalog. When I received the dryer, a warranty card (5 yr. warranty) was included to fill out and return. At the bottom of the form it said if this card is not received by the company within 30 days of purchase the warranty is null and void. Can they do this?

I ordered the product the end of May, so I am a few weeks overdue in returning the form. I didn't even think you needed to return a warranty card to be covered, let alone a time restriction on sending it back.

Any thoughts, suggestions or laws regarding warranty coverage?

Thanks for any help.

Terry
