I had a plumbing company flood my home a few months ago and they contacted a carpet company to do the clean up. Stating that they would cover the cost of the cleaning once complete. The work was done and I signed a blank form stating that they completed the work. Now the plumbing company is refusing to pay saying they did not agree to this and the carpet company is threatening me with a property lein to get there money.
I never called this company and I did not flood my house.
What can I do in Texas?
