What is the name of your state?

my duaghter and i recently took a vacation to FLA. we got a rental car and dropped it off at the airport in one of those spots where you don't have to talk to anyone, you just leave the keys in the car. when we got back home ther was a msg on my cell phonee saying the car was damaged (it was not, i swear). they said isince i didn't have th insureance option they would charge my credi t cared to repair it. is this leagal????

My response:

Yes. But, you can get out of it by showing them the photos of the car you took at the drop off point. That will prove there was no damage.

Perhaps, that's why you dropped the car off where you did - - so you wouldn't have to "talk to anyone" about the damages you caused, and hoped to blame it on them!

But, don't worry. Their surveillance tape will show the damages to the car as you drove up.
