rented equipment still here!!

NEW YORK: We rented a backhoe for the weekend.(Fri PM to Mon AM) We were over charged for it and are fighting that through the bank. It is Tues. and the rented equipment is still here. The rental Co. says they don't have time to pick it up. (Maybe tomorrow, Wed.)We were charged $50.00 for delivery and $50.00 for Pick up. The equipment is in our way!!! Can we charge storage fees or refuse pick up charge??!!!

This seems perfectly simple. You tell them you won't charge them for storing the stuff as long as they waive those fees for you.

To ensure this, keep emailing them/faxing and calling and letting them know their stuff is with you.
