We are from Indiana. Jan 99' bought car online from Illinois. Dealer came to pick up trade in-deliver new car. Next AM signed papers at Wendys. told we would get title in a week. Tltle never came. Used dealer plates for a year. Had a change in finances and could no longer afford payments. Since Title never produced we could not trade in or sell the truck. We turned it back in. Now we have an involuntary repo and 14000 judgment and now wage garnishment! This was not a legal contract--we need a lawyer but cannot find one! Please tell us what we can do on our own? Hwo do we appeal the judgment and does this stop the garnishment as long as it is in appeal? The bank is Ford Motor Credit-which I might add oculd not produce a title until 3 months after we turned the vehicle in....is this a stolen vehicle???? We need to stop these people!
