Resort time share purchase-stuck with it?

I foolishly attended a meeting for a resort. I signed and made a deposit on a "try it" contract.

i have not made my first payment and have not used their resorts.
it's a point system-i bought so many points on a year long contract.

am i stuck with my bad mistake?

**A: what date did you buy? And did you read your contract for termination provisions?

i read the whole thing but don't understand alot of it.
i had 72 hours to cancel the purchase agreement according to one paragraph.
i signed up for it some time in March.
