What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Colorado
We ordered a tiny set of rubber wheels for a stair lift for my 83 yr. old mother. One of the originals was lost in shipping some how. We only needed one but the company would only sell us 4, then charged $20 shipping for what should have been about $2. The missing wheel was eventually found but when we wanted to return the unopened wheels they said they would not take them back. When we told them we could dispute the charge with the credit card company, they then said they would return them and charge freight (?) and a restocking fee of $75. There was nothing regarding a restocking fee when we placed the order or on our receipt. At this point should we just dispute the charge with Mastercard? This is a company that also tried to sell my senior mother 17 feet of new track for her her stair lift instead of the 3 feet she needed! Should this company be reported to the BBB and AARP Elderwatch? What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?
