Nevada. I recently gave a CPA my W2's etc to do my income taxes, he is now charging an astronmical fee for my returns, which I did not agree to prior. He will not return my W2's to me, however I believe that Circular 230 federal guidelines dictate that although there is a dispute he must turn over to me anything I need in order to complete my obligation to the IRS. Is this true? how can I make him give me my property if he refuses before April 15?
