What is the name of your state?
California:
Purchased diamond bracelet ($1900) and earrings ($500) in Dec 2002 as gift to Mother. Bracelet appraised 4 times ... valued between $60-$140. Have made payments of $600 and stopped. Waiting for jewelry from out-of-state so I can return to store. They are threatening to sue for breach of contract. What are my rights? What will a judge likely rule?

The judge will rule that you must comply with the contract you signed. If you feel you were ripped off, you must sue the jewelry store for fraud.
