What is the name of your state? Maryland.
I just recently brought a car from a dealer in VA. I used my van as a trade-in of $4,200 and $1,000 in cash. The dealer called me after 3 weeks of having the car and says the car couldn't be financed because the miles were too high and I needed to pick out another car from the dealership. Instead I would like to have my trade back and the 1,000 cash I put down, they tell me the trade was sold and they are not obligated to give me the trade amount in cash but will give me the amount they actually sold the trade for. Is this correct?
