(What is the name of your state?) Kentucky.

I've been told if you make a purchase at a shoppe, you are legally allowed to sit around for an hour due to the fact that you are a paying customer. Is this true, or merely an urban legend?

As well, can businesses boot you, the paying customer, out for any reason, even if said reason is nonsensical?

Thank you.

An urban legend. When you visit a business, legally speaking they are giving you permission to be there which they are entitled to revoke anytime. They can ask you to leave for any reason or no reason.
