What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Texas

I signed a contract with a roofer to fix a little hail damage. at the time he said you can read the contract later, all it says is that you are working with us. later on i had second thoughts so i read it and it said i could not cancel, no grace period . if i did cancel i would have to pay 15% of the roof estimate.Don't all contracts have a grace period.

Some types of contracts do, some dont.

if a "grace period" applies to your contract, the max you would have is 3 days.
