What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? California

I had a one year lease that my landlord and I extended twice.

In both cases I wrote an extension and signed and dated it on the last day of the previous lease/extension. I then mailed it to the landlord who dated and signed it using the same date I did. But the landlord does not live locally so actually signed it a few days after and backdated it.

Would this invalidate the lease extension?

Thanks!

**A: the answer is no. The lease would still be enforceable even if there was no signature date.
