What is the name of your state? North Carolina

I enrolled and paid for classes at a training center, and when I received my enrollment packet in the mail it did not include a copy of my contract as promised... but I did not realize this at the time. The school has now closed its doors and filed for bankruptcy. I really need a copy of that contract as proof of services paid for but not rendered so that I may file for reimbursement as part of the bankrupcy settlement.

QUESTION: Am I entitled by law to request a copy of that contract? If so, would it be best to do so through the bankruptcy trustee?

Thank you.
