What is the name of your state? kansas.
we have a signed contract with a customer who lives in missouri on painting the exterior of her home. she paid the down payment and then stopped payment on the 2nd check. she still owed us aditional money after the 2nd payment. we even did work the day after she stopped payment on the 2nd check and she said nothing to us. we found out through a voice mail that was not recieved until 3 days after the stop payment. she said she was not happy with the work even though it had not been comleted yet. we made several calls to her to try to work things out and stand behind our contract but we told her she needed to make good on the check that she had written before we would come back. what is the next step we take?because she is not willing to make good on the 2nd check.
