What is the name of your state? Illinois

I have one year contract with AT& T wireless (ending on Sept 10, 2003). They have unfairly charged me $160/- as "roaming charges" When I talked with them before I got this "roaming charge" one representative told me that AT&T will take off those "roaming charges" when the bill will come out. But when I got the bill they said this charges are valid and said "no one" before said that these charges will be taken off (even though AT&T representative did tell me that the charges are invalid and will be taken off).

Now I do not have any voice recording as its proof and AT&T is threatening me to discontinue service. They also want me to pay discontinuation service panulty, contract breaking charges in addition to those $160/- (a total of $350/-) when they are supposed to waive it as per their statement. I have very good credit history and I don't want At&T to spoil it by reporting it to credit bureau. Instead I would like to contact credit bureau and inform them about this issue.

I would greatly appreciate if you can advice me what are my option in this situation. What should I do??

Thank you.
