What is the name of your state? Texas

i purchased a used truck several years ago
from used car dealer the dealer arranged for financing
thru a finance company but after several mouths passed
i had not received tags are a lien title
the car dealer reply to that was i’ll take care of it
our it’s in the mail and so on
after 8-9 months i stop paying notes
and had a friend with police dept. run the vin numbers
thru texas dmv the vehicle came still registered to the original owner
and had lien outstanding with a local credit union
the credit union stated that the owner had deflated the on the loan
and that they where not able to recover the vehicle and charged off the loan
but still held the title
so there for the car neither dealer nor the finance company has ever held a title to the vehicle
the finance company has not made any attempt to repo our contact me in all this time
they trashed my credit then sold the debt to a collection agency and trashed it again
do i have any legal recourse in this matter:confused:
