my husband made a verbal agreement with a guy who was living with us at the time to take up notes on a truck.i made up a contract for him to sign when he moved out and he never came back to sign it. in the meantime he's been late on the note and now he's 2 notes behind which, we paid. then we found out from his mom he wrecked the truck.he never told us.he went to work offshore and hid the truck from us.luckily the guy he was living with before he left had an idea where it was at and we got it back. now we have a wrecked truck and he's not paying the note.we'll be lucky to get the payoff out of the truck. he had liability insurance and the other guy had no ins. and no license and the wreck was supposedly the other guys fault. what are the chances of getting any of the money from him for the truck?i live in ms.
