I can no longer afford my truck payment due to a child support judgement. I have tried to sell the truck, but it is still fairly new and about 3 or $4,000 upside down. If I volunteer the vehicle for repossession, what happens to the difference of what I owe and what the bank gets for the vehicle? Will I be able to pay this off in payments like a loan or will they sue me and garnish my wages? If so, how much can they take? Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated! My child support payments begin next month.
