Warranty handling fees

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Ca.
I am in San Diego, Ca. My question is, I have a camper shell on my pick up truck that developed cracks, the cracks are covered under warranty, but the camper shell dealer here wants to charge me $50.00 to take the shell off and put it back on. Is that something the camper shell manufacturer should be responsible for?

Not unless removal and installation is listed as part of the warranty.
