What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? NY
We have had a problem with a GM vehical since we owned it. the dealers have tried fixing the problem several times under warranty, now the warranty has expired and the problem still exists neither GM or the company we have the extended warranty through is willing to pay for anything else to try and resolve this. It was documented that the problem still existed before the warranty expired. what can be done? can I call someone besides the BBB?What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?

How long have you owned this vehicle? Did you purchse it brand new?

Since the issue was not repaired properly ,or able to be repaired when the warranty existed ,contact your local Office Of Attorney General - Consumer Affairs.

They have the consumer contact info. for Companies and will forward your complaint to the right person(s).

File a complaint .Make sure you state the problem and attempts to repair while still under warranty failed to fix the issue ,and that it still needs repair .

Perhaps in the remedy you seek , you could possibly state that IF the issue under warranty can NOT be repaired ,you like another vehicle of similar and equal value and quality in exchange .

Send copies of ALL you proofs with the complaint .

You might want to type out a summery of Dates , attempts at repair ,the outcomes ,and reiterate the Date the warranty was valid and expired .
