My brother bought a used car from a dealer and was initally told that the car was a 1994, but when he signed the contract to purchase and finance, they told him the year was wrong and that it was a 1993.

However, when he got insurance for the car, the insurance co. informed him that it was in fact a 1994 (from VIN).

Is this a breach of contract with a discprency like this? Is the car returnable to the dealer?

The car is now highly questionable and my brother doesn't want any trouble that might come with it (e.g. tampered VIN, stole vehicle...etc.)
