What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Colorado

Is it TM infringement if you have a banner flown that uses a famous persons name or sports team name, no logo, especially if it is not in a good light? What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?

Based on the vagueness of your question, there is only one possible answer:

Maybe

Even if it is in a "good" light it can be infringement.

Also note that professional sports, as well as the people's republic of Disney, has managed to enjoin the use of aerial advertisements in the vicinity of their venues in the name of "security" (where as what they really want is to constrain free speech to increase their own advertising revenue). So if that's what you have in mind, be careful.
