What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Indiana.

If I purchase a copyright protected items like material or stickers and use that to make something that I then sell, am I infringing on their copyright?

It depends. Once you legally purchase a rights-protected item, you can generally do with the item what you want - including reselling the item.

But you can run into copyright issues if you modify the copyrighted item, using the copyrighted item to create a derivative work. And you can run into trademark issues if you try to capitalize in any way on the trademark when marketing your work. And there could be other problems with your proposed uses.

Specifics, in other words, will matter.
