For copyright infringement, Title 17 specifies that civil actions must be filed within 3 years "after the claim accrued." What does "after the claim accrued mean?
Also, assume that the infringer continues to publish the infringed book for the next 5 years. How would the statute of limitations apply to a suit commenced 4 years from now if (a) only a permanent injunction was sought, without request for monetary compensation, or (b) injunction plus monetary compensation was sought.
