I am the author of a copyrighted book and ISBN in several countries. Part of the book was used with photocopies attached in a case in a court in U.S. without my permission. Is this an infringement of the law? Can I claim compensation?
Thanks for the information.

ISBN means nothing.

As for use in a court case, this probably falls under fair use. Of course, you've not provided anywhere NEAR enough detail.
